Book of the Serpent

Hi, can anyone tell me where to find the Book of the Serpent. I thought I had looked everywhere in the library but to no avail. Thanks Lardawg

You need to have the serpent idol to lower the platform that allows access to the hidden study inside the library. If you dont have it yet, i found it near the entrance to the temple. When you first come in and see the naga walk by the iron barred door there are two other barred doors that you can enter. Inside in the access to the underground stream where you'll have to fight a giant ooze. There is a chest at the far end of the stream. Therein lies your key. Bring it back to the library and place it in the center "slot" (its the one without any paths leading to it)

That helps alot. Thanks. I have the serpent idol, but didn't know what to do with it.

1 did you get the key from the wizard when you first come into the "church".

2 did you use the key to get the snake idall
down stairs(way down stairs).

3 did you put the snake idall on one of the nitches in the library.

4 the book is right or left of where of you put the snake idall.
