Yep, they are. And their original name is Pommes frites. here's a little potatoe history. So French fries, Freedom fries, and whateveryouwannacallitfries, it's all a load of crap.

I'm just joking French Fries. Freedom Fries sounds uncool unless you are Patriotic fanatic. Jeez why can't the U.S. and France get along. France doesn't want to join the war and the U.S. government has to act spoiled about it.

There's a lot more to it than France not wanting to join our "war on terrorism," but IIRC, it wasn't the government who started this whole freedom fry gig.

I didnt like Louisana too much..But I dont think I would say I 'disliked' it.

French..But like Johnny said, its all a load of crap. And the only person in the goverment I ever heard approving of it was a congressman from Virginia, whoms name I have forgotten.
