Hey Ziroc!

I don't know if this will help...

As you know, I used to work at an "old school" gaming company. I have a few unopened, signed copies of some of our best-sellers. (Most are on GameSpy's list of Greatest Games of All Time) I also have a lot of extra "goodies" that came in the boxes, and even some employee-only gifts.
If they'd help, I'd donate them for a private auction here. Other ex-employees have auctioned them on E-Bay for quite a bit.

RudeDawg, that's very generous of you to offer those games! I wonder if an auction is possible? Guess Z will have to ask his legal advisors about that, but it would be cool!

RudeDawg, good idea but why dont you auction them off at ebay as well? I think that the price will be a lot higher there than here on IW, and then just send whatever price it ends at to Ziroc

I think it will mean more if we keep it in-house, here at IW. But I'll leave it up to Ziroc. If he'd like, I'll go get them out of storage.

Thats a good idea! Rudedawg is willing to auction off games so why dont we all? Games we dont like/never play/etc. I would have to sort through things but I have a few things someone might buy-proceeds dontated to IW. Wizardry 8 for one. I couldnt get into it but I know its popular. Maybe an auction thread could be started? Rudedawg its your idea......

Just another suggestion:

Amazon has been mentioned, but let's not forget Barnes and Noble It seems pretty easy to set up a link to get commission.

I know you can sell used books via Amazon. I've never tried, but maybe it is an option? And the proceeds could go to IW as LoA mentioned.

Wow if this is possible, I only have piles and PILES of books just laying around in perfect condition that I have already read! Not to mention a lot of games as well, although only maybe 10 or 20, I'd have to go digging to find out for sure.

Again, if this could somehow work, that would be pretty cool, we could all clean up our house and help IWs as well! Great idea RudeDawg!

I don't even know if they'll run on new machines. These are from the late 80's, early 90's. From a company that doesn't even exist anymore...
