[IWD2]HoF: Shaegarne's Bridge... the easy way!
I just started by having one of my back row casters cast "Invisibility Sphere" and then walked right over to Zuki (is that her name)?
She can see you, but nobody else can. You kill her and then pick off just a few baddies at a time (led by a backstabbing Rogue of course!). So far, this is the only battle I've found easier in HoF mode, since I have access to much higher spells.

Nice find! Eventhough I never fail in saving the bridge before, this does make the battle a bit easier.
I assume Mass Invisibility spell works the same way as well. |

That's good spell tactics. Really, the difficult part of the battle has always been having to move around and avoid triggering monsters on the western side. Getting over to Zuki and setting up is a great use of the spell.
I tend to bludgeon through on this battle, but this is probably a better way. Symbol of Hopelessness is very effective here too.

It's a cooler role-playing accomplishment too. |

I've bludgeoned through on HoF, too. But this tactic looks like it's less hazardous, because it allows you to save the bridge first and get yourself set up in excellent position to deal with attacking waves.
