What kind of whoopass ranger is Drizzt anyway? He's supposed to be a lvl 15 ranger, so I cheated a bit til I had a lvl 15 ranger with the scimitars and chainmail in his inventory. Stats were all 18 or 19, I think I tried them both. Then I attacked Drizzt: one-on-one, no healing or anything else, just wait til one dies, and guess who that was: me. I actually tried every guild there is at lvl 15 with the scimitars and chainmail, and still I couldn't kill him. Then I tried a lvl 21 monk against him. Guess what, I won, but only after running away from him once to heal. He just won't die. Is this a bug in the game, did the programmers just do something wrong here, or is it me? Shouldn't I be as strong as Drizzt with my 15 level ranger? (or another class)

Second question: the difference between a normal fighter and the berserker kit, except for the enrage ability? The way I see it, there are no other differences, so one would never ever create a fighter char, but always a berserker. That way, if you don't use 'enrage' you're a normal fighter, and otherwise you are more powerful at times. Anyone care to comment?

Well haven´t read the stats about Drizzt from the game but do remeber that he wasn´t always a ranger, if you read the books about him you ´ll soon realize this as he becomes a ranger after growing up as a fighter in Menzoberanzan so he should whoop you´re ass even if you´re a lvl 21 monk and furthermore, Drizzt and his friends are probably the most loved heroes of the Icewind Dale world so that too may be the problem, you´re not supposed to kill him..

Drizzt is a force of good. Any (chaotic) evil character should try to stop him.

Drizzt was a 18 fithter before leaving Menzo. After that 15 ranger. So, He has 33levels experiences ... Hard anough to kill. Suppose to have 5 attacks per round, and the bracers of improved haste on his legs. He is of course grand master. If you think he is tough, try Jarlaxle if its possible in the game. This dark elf has nothing non magical on his body, even his eye patch, hat, feather hat , ear rings of pro fire 100% ... A black hole of teleporting ...

I'm semi-evil, but I have nothing against Drizzt. I have an idea he just changed careers once he got to the surface (i.e., from a fighter to a ranger, using whatever experience he had as a fighter to determine his new level). He's fairly strong - not outrageously strong - but I agree, he's overpowered in BG2. Not nearly as bad as he was in BG, though, heh. On a spoiler note, Jarlaxle was disappointingly easy to kill, and all he had were some crummy regular weapons. At least I got to loot that other Ust Natha estate, though.

How the heck did you kill Jarlaxle? Wasnt the speech locked? So you cant actually attack him??

Hmm i wonder what a zombie Zaknafein would be like.... Although with a good cleric he should just explode!

Well, considering that Zaknafien (sp?) taught Drizzt how to fight, I would imagine a zombie Zaknafien would be pretty tough. He was pretty awesome when Matron Baenre brought him back to life in undead form. I do remember reading that in the Dark Elf Trilogy. It was great. The Mind Flayers were tough too FOOMPF. LOL. I loved it.
