Well, I have been in Collasium yet but I find this game well designed with diligent dungeons. Let's vote which is your favorite dungeon. I try to figure them out. Hope I do not miss any:--

Crypt: Skeletons, Nivius
Serpent Temple: Snakes, Xydusa, Serpent Master, Ellysia
Shurugeon Castle: Ghosts, D'Soto
Stout Mines: Dragon Ore, Trains
Boogre Cave: Boogres, oh Jungle Lilys
Dragon Spire: The spire with Spiders but no Dragon to kill
Skull Castle: Vampires, Lich
Shrine of Anephas: Temple Guardian, light beams, Kerah
Collasium: The city in the Sea
Cet's Pyramid: ...

I like Anephas Shrine most. Very similar to a real Pyramid...the wall decoration, especially the light beam. Quite a straight forward (but well designed) dungeon without annoying parts. I like the Temple Guardian who yields loads of EXP. More, the Place of Kerah, is actually located underneath the Sea!!!

Dragon Spire. Need to get a freshly changed character up to level 2? Head to the spire and walk around. In short order, something will come along and try to kill you, and it's probably worth a lot of XP (700-1500).

I've even levelled up in the middle of a battle so as not to miss an opportunity to train...

But for playability, I'd pick Stout Mines because I hate it -- so easy to get lost in there if you don't map carefully.

I've been waxing nostalgic for the Crypt recently! My very 1st dungeon ever. *sigh*

I liked Shurugeon Castle and the Collasium. Very nicely designed. The Shrine of Anephas was good too. Although, I must admit, from an architectural standpoint, dungeons usually don't make much sense. I assume that this is because they are designed with gameplay challenges and variety in mind, not functionality, as would hopefully be the case in real life. Still, sometimes I wonder...

I really like them all! It is hard to choose, but I guess overall, I like Dragon Spire the most. Lots of cool looking areas, cool monsters, neat designs - the spider caverns, the underground lake (where you can get the crystal eye of the serpent, swim down to talk to the spirit of the earth, and then go further down to get a nice sword from the darkness at the bottom) - classic dungeon.
Great dungeons for playing at 2am, sipping coffee with the lights out (and maybe listening to Art Bell on the radio just for kicks)are - The Crypt, Serpent Temple, Dragon Spire, Skull Castle.
(yeah, i'm weird sometimes)

I've posted this before, but for people that haven't seen it...

Here's some shots for the new Crypt and Temple that didn't make it into W&W. They were both a little more functional and made architectual sense. The new levels were built around the puzzles.

The original Crypt and Snake Temple were the first levels ever built with MCAD (the editor)

Cool shots Als!!! How did you find them? Also the thumbnails with shots from the crypt are FAB! A pity that the areas didn't make it into the game.
