But you do log in every now and then, no? Otherwise, what would be the point of having an account?

So glad tomorrow is a holiday. I hate Mondays LOL. Great weather going on right now. It doesn't feel like summer is almost over, sigh... |

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, a conversation zone, August 19, 2007
Evening, all. I agree with Lady Z (and not just 'cause Kung Fu Gal has hammers in her arsenal now)... I don't want to think Summer's over. Yet.
Kids are enjoying a sleepover outside in our new tent, picked up after the campout earlier this summer. My wife thinks I went overboard, but I know a thing or two about camping, and when they say it's a 4-person tent, that either means four It's a lot bigger to set up than I thought, and I think it really would sleep eight adults comfortably. We had a family sleepover last night, all of us (except the dog) in the new tent. Kids are doing a reprieve tonight, but just the two of them. I'm not interested in sleeping on the rock-hard ground for a second night Be interesting to see how it goes in the morning...

LOL Bungleau, I think when we were kids we just slept better cause we were all over the place all day long. I liked sleeping in a tent in a sleeping bag too, but now? Eh, no not interested anymore LOL. Although with all those fancy dancy new airbeds, maybe....better than a sleeping bag on the hard ground as you said!
Not sure what weather you are having in Michigan right now, but here it is perfect for sleeping outdoors, i.e. in the upper 60's/low 70s. I know I'll have my window open tonight. |

Same weather here. Just about perfect... cool enough to need the sleeping bag, warm enough so you don't NEED the sleeping bag

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, a conversation zone, August 19, 2007
HAHAHA... yes, I remember those 'two man tents' in the old days... yah.. two people who REALLY liked sleeping a hair's breadth apart or spooning all night- very tight quarters, so I would have said the 4-person tents were about big enough for 2 or 3 people....and would have gone the same route, Bungleau...8 man tent! LOL
LZ, I think you're right on the money...we used to wear ourselves out and fall into the sleeping bags half asleep already and didn't notice the huge rocks in our backs til morning. I haven't been into camping (tents and sleeping bags) for a while now, though.....I think 'roughing it' is having a camper and flushable toilet nowadays! Oh, and here's my husband's latest fun toy....a 52 oz mug...

LOL, that thing is so big I'd be afraid I'd douse my entire face trying to take a drink from it!
