Screw that, go all out and buy yourself a decent computer. You'l be able to play the latest games for quite a while, especially if you go for an alienware.

If he is on a budget however and since NWN's isn't a new game I'd just upgrade. As for alienware well, it's far cheaper to buy the parts, build up a nice system and then add the customized cpu case for $15
 .
