Yes! Get some more pics of your baby girl on Stealthy's site, maybe Stealthy will update his main page with it! Well.., until his OWN baby arrives that is!

I guess I will be shunned now as someone who wants to start fights.
An outcast, for saying what I still feel is right.
Being told to get over it was a bit too much.
I never said that he should not stop the thread in question from continuing, did I?
My concern was the way it was being handled.
The angry face and the High-school game joke was inavertantley directed at that poster that started the popularity thread.
I know that Memnoch would have been more mature in his chastisment.
He is very witty with that stuff.
Now, for my defending statements, I am to be shot.

Dear Larry,

I apologize if what I posted caused you offense. However, I still stand by my original statements. As LadyZekke pointed out (and thank you for that!) I purposely posted this to a separate thread and kept it generic, specifically because it was spurred on by two separate incidents, not one. Granted, the one today was the one freshest in my mind, I'll admit, but it was both threads I was thinking of when I posted this...and certainly no individual involved.

Also, I never told you to "get over" something, and I'm sorry you interpreted what I said that way. That is a phrase I find particularly offensive as well, and I can well understand your frustration if that's what you thought I was saying to you. At the time, I was rushed and couldn't post a better explanation...what my intent was to tell you that I appreciated your point of view, and that I was sorry my particular style had offended you, but that made it no less valid.

Thirdly, no one is going to "shoot" you down for expressing your feelings and your opinions. None of us here will stand for anyone doing that to you, myself included. And I certainly don't think that was LadyZekke's intent in her reply to you. You are a valued and respected member here.

Let's agree to put this behind us and go forward.

Regards,

Gee, I'm embarrassed now!

FWIW, each mod here (Saz, Wyvern, Ertai, etc) has their own style, and they are all valid - there's no one right way to handle things.

What I *really* want to know is, what the hell does IXNAY mean?

"Some play hard to get, I play hard to like"

Sorry Sazerac, and I agree to your statement that all people here are worthy and popular! I mean we make this place to a great site. All the little posts and so.

Personally I don´t mind the popularity posts, but I also can see that they are troublesome too..

Point taken!

Nix can also mean to reject, to put a stop to or as an alternative word for nothing - got these straight out of a dictionary.
