In a sticky post on another forum about the propor order to install IWD + extra stuff in it says that if you have both the patch and TotLM installed there will be many clashs. I have recently bought How and am intending to download TotLM but i already have the patch installed.
Is there any way to uninstall the patch but not the rest of the game so i wont get these clashs when TotLM is installed?

The safest way would be to backup your save folder, uninstall the whole game( USING ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS), manually delete any leftover files, then reinstall in the proper order.

plinkrat, ister,

Although installing patches after installing TotLM is bound to give you problems, I would like to think that installing TotLM either alone or after a previous patch to HoW would do it. However, I can not argue with Dundee that the safest bet is to do a total uninstall/reinstall. It doesn't take long.

And, of course, as Dundee says, you should back up your games in progress before whatever else you do.

Noblenick - it's not the patch to HoW that's the issue here, it's the patch to IWD. In other words can the following install sequence work?

IWD
IWD patch 1.05
How
TOLM
