Hierophant, I too liked Soulreaver, but as they say, "To each his own."

Bubsy 3D

Never let that abominable curse of a game touch your system. You WILL regret it.

I never buy anything without checking out reviews and online comments, so the worst game I've actualy bought is Freelancer. It starts of promising, but by the time you finish the campaign you've seen almost everything and the balance of the entire universe is determined to fit the campaign. So liberty is pathetic, rhienland is tough, the criminal factions have the firepower to take over all of known space, and none of this fits in with the background. And this was one of the best sounding games of all time back when it was announced. What a dissapointment.

And I'm not even touching on the interface.

Were do you live? I'm sure no matter were you'll be able to buy it over the internet. Although your still at school so I suppose you don't have a credit card. Ask one of you parents nicely and give them the cash. That's what I did when I was younger and couldn't find a game in shops...

I forget the name, but it was a mortal combat fighting style game and all of the characters were cyborgs, it was on Sega Saturn.

. . . That's a tough one...

I'd probably have to go with... Armada for the dreamcast...

In it you played as a space ship, and you had to fight overwhelming odds of aliens... Ok... So I fought overwhelming odds of aliens... and I leveled up my ship and got upgrades and stronger weapons and got Uber-powered... but then... Nothin'... Just more aliens to fight It was like it never ended...

Ok maybe that wasn't it...

I think the worst game I ever realy bought was Phantasy Star Online

Due to the fact that I couldn't STOP playing it, and still play it to this day!

always ha luck with my purchases. Thw worst game probably was "Requiem" which was on sale for 50c (YES fifty cents). I bought it two months ago because it was so cheap and I have never played it (So ACTUALLY I can't say it's bad but at that pirce it has to be ).
The worst rip-off however was the terrible TheClou2 which was in every way worse than its GREAT precedessor.

I've been playing games since 1988 and I have seen my share of bad beef...

but one of the worst is Pool of Radiance... arf.

Shadow of the force, StarWars game... very bad

Final Fight on the Commodore 64

Chase HQ on Atari ST (Overhyped awfulness)

Recently I tried a demo of a game called Neighbors from Hell... and that is the worst garbage I have ever seen... thank god I didn't buy it... not that I would have...
