Well, I wasn't aware that you werent allowed to colour sigs.I own UBB forums on my site, and I have never had a problem with people colouring them. Can I ask what problems it causes, having a coloured sig?

A reply is requested,because I didn't mean to cause a problem,I'm just wondering.

You can have colored text as a jpg or gif format, but you can't use html to change font or color. Why? I don't know.

Well, i thought that it would affect the rest of the replies, making them change colors. It seems im wrong, so you can color your sig if you want. Sorry for having modified those posts.

ziroc and memnoch just dont like us to leave html tags open because they have caused issues in the past. such as when people quote them.

Lavindathar, this board allows you to use HTML in your posts, but not in your sig. Leaving HTML tags open in your message area can affect the rest of the page. Colours *may* be ok, but things like marquee commands, tables etc can screw up the page as well as subsequent posts, so to play it safe please make sure that all open HTML tags are closed at the end of your message area.

If you want to have color in your sig, you can save your sig as a gif file and call it using UBB code. Otherwise you can use UBB code to color in your sig. But if you're coloring it by leaving an HTML tag open in your message area, then that's not really the right way to do it, ok? Thanks, mate.
