I want to find mae'var, so i can sneekily expose his ass, but i can t FIND him .... i talk to this women at the floor below teh ground-floor, she says something about going down a stairs, but all i can do is take a stairs UP, and he isnt there either @!@@@@@!@

OK.. You know where you first come in? It has the man standing at the counter? Well, if you take the door to the left, there are stairs leading down. Try those.

In the guild house here should be another set of stairs behind the bar, 1st floor that lead you to him

Floor below the ground floor? Did you enter through the backdoor??
You should enter where it says "Maevar's Guild" on your map in the docks district. When you first enter, it should look like a shop, with a man standing behind a counter. Talk to him and enter the "backrooms". Just when you enter the door to your left, you should see some stairs leading down. |

I wonder if this quest which Shadow Guild gives you (too get in to Muaulevear's Guild) is it bad for reputation or is it ok for good alignment?

I'm a lawful neutral and accepting the quest didnt give me any rep.problems down in the hood
