Well... Basil is nice in a salad with mozzarella (Italian cheese for the nitwits [img]tongue.gif[/img] among us) and tomato ... YUM! [img]smile.gif[/img]

(oops...wrong question!) [img]graemlins/laugh2.gif[/img] Basil is good, but be careful not to overdo it, especially with sweet basil. A basil rub over chicken or beef can greatly improve the flavor. It's not aromatic, like rosemary, so you can use a bit more than you would with rosemary or bay leaf, but a little of it still goes a long way. Cheers, -Saz

Oooooh I LOVE Basil! My favourite herb (well apart from... you know...).
Agree with the Mozzeralla - I love that cheese! Mozzerella, beef tomatoes and pine nuts with a nice basil pesto dribbled over the top - exquisite! Now I'm feeling hungry!
