So much has changed in the last few years, I'm not that old but I feel that way sometimes. You know, I remember when...

Talk shows flooded the telly, not just talking about who had who's baby and who slept with who.

When you only needed to know one language to watch preschool shows.

When Walmart was still growing and didn't buy out every other retail business it was stationed at.

When the top contenders for the console wars was Sonic and Mario.

When Disney actually made cartoon movies, before Pixar invaded and hypnotized everyone with pretty textures.

When you didn't need to donate limbs to pay for gasoline, when gas was a buck.

When the Rolling Stones looked... somewhat less dead.

When everyone didn't go on calorie cutting and become carb obsessed, I miss fat America.

When Dragonball Z was the king of Anime and Sailormoon was right behind 'em, before Naruto and all that.

I haven't got the internet back yet, but I thought I'd drop in and say hey

Hello...To continue:

I remember when kids drank out of the hose outside, after letting the water run to make sure there were no spiders in it...

I also remember the first time we found out why you do that...

Hi there!

I remember the time when you still had DOS as the main operator program.

I also remember windows 3.14 and Sid Meier's "Colonization", as well as "rodent's revenge".

I remember when kids rode their bikes as fast as they could for at least a block before hitting a 5 foot jump made from plywood and cinder blocks and not wearing helmets or pads.

I also remember why cinder blocks and plywood didn't make a good jump.

I'm not trying to own any of those admissions, Arvon...I am really not. I am much too young to remember Gun Smoke, or Dark Shadows...

I remember when they banned alcohol in the 20's... or was it 30's... I'm too old to remember. Anyway, it sucked.
