Neb, in some ways the Chinese were to the Japanese, what the Jews were to the Nazis. They were singled out as a people and visited extraordinary brutality in Singapore alone. I can understand any Chinese anger especially as Rikard pointed out there's been a bit of denial about certain things.

I agree it's a petty this got all heavy though. I don't think some quite got what I was saying or why. Taking a humorous look at the names we can and do call ourselves and others. That's all. Of course we're all humans etc. But painting a mental picture requires description and differentation.



I gues it goes with the territory when dealing with people who live in the Greenwich Meridian time zone in the mountainous regions of the northern part of the larger island off the western coast of the Eurasian landmass; and with people who live in the.... oh bugger it I've got a meeting to go to (on a Saturday morning - yuk yuk yuk.)
