Thanks Cloudy!
Somehow my avatar magically changed from Ma'at to Bastet. Perhaps the forum software is still a bit quirky. Ha, everytime I shorten Ironworks to just I and W, I get this -> IW symbol.

I really have to get used to the fact that i have to scroll all the way down to see who's online, which used to be on top of the page.

Eidos Tech-help got back to me. Turns out the reason Theif 3 won't work on Vista, is that it won't work on ANY OS other than XP/2000. For this reason I'd like to smack the developers. Oh well, just slightly irritating someday after I get a new job I can get a new computer, a blank one, that I can dump XP into and be happy.
Probably the same reason I couldn't get Deus Ex: Invisible War to run either.

Hey LadyZ! Great HK recap of the last show this season! I enjoyed the last show, both parts. Was fun to see the recap and dish the show! Ack, before I forget, I need to get that Ventrillo software installed. Will see if Hubby can help tomorrow or Wed. He's got to help our friend put her pc together (the motherboard fried) tonight.
Johnny, you looking for cherries? *snicker* Hey Stratos! Hope you're having a good day! Been nuts for me at work, all the students are coming back now....and they have tons of problems we have to fix in the office, of course!

Hey, this place looks good! its all...new and stuff!
Cloudy, surely you can tell your students to deal with it themselves...call it a class in "Dealing with Adversity" or "Life is crap, and heres the proof".. I was very pleased with my effort last night. had to lead a strategy meeting for the SPCA. Had never done anything like that before, so i was really unsure how it would go, but it acutally went really well - we got HEAPS of good ideas flowing.

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, a conversation zone, August 19, 2007
Cloudy, the Ventrilo.com site is very easy, and the program is so tiny it literally takes about 10 seconds to download, so you can do it anytime, including Thursday when we are all on chatting. No hurries on that. And I'm still not sure if Pauly's adjustment recommendations will make things better or not. I really had to yell to get my voice to come through, and then it was of course too loud and blaring back at me from Saz's speakers LOL! So Yahoo may still be better but we can at least give the Ventrilo one more shot cause it only takes a second anyway.
Yeah was a pretty good season of Hell's Kitchen. I'll never think of risotto in the same way again. |
