What a rotten way for Hussey to get out, couldn't get the bat out of the way quick enough and inside edged it onto the stumps for 91.

Since then Pup and Gilly have been rebuilding by going on the offensive - Gilly just cut Freddie away violently past point for 4, and then Clark deflected Hoggy off his legs to deep mid on for 4 more.

But it's an uphill struggle to get to 400 I reckon. We may get past the follow on, but not much further than that.

I'm still livid that Giles dropped Ponting when Aus had about 89. Think he may have dropped the test there...

Well he certainly dropped any chance of the poms winning this match.
Ponting does not give many chances and you have to take them. Ive not seen much if anything of Giles replacement Monty but surely he can bowl better and cant be a worse fielder?

So Hoggard finaly bowled Australia out! A lead of a hundred at the change of innings and Monty in the team might have seen the poms still in with a chance but the only result now is a draw or Warne to spin an Australian victory.

A very exciting final session now! Like a one day match. Shame about the borefest for the first three days.

Yeah its almost like a 20/20 game for the aussie batsmen. Lets smash taht ball all over the place.

Not looking good at 2/33 though.

LOL - 550 behind after one innings - and we still win .

That has GOT to hurt .

Loved Petersen giving away the 7 to Pup - classic.

Wow.

I watched it at an Aussie bar in Manhattan, and boy was that a great vibe. Packed full of Aussies, we all became best mates, and had a rip roaring time!

What a great days cricket.

And now I'm stuffed. 4am.... need to sleeeeep.
