Re: World cup
Nice 3 - 1 win for Brazil vs Ivory Coast. Brazil was marvelous to watch with until 80 minute, and then Ivory Coast started to fight back and got a goal. Why didn't they do that throughout the match?
Kaka red card is a joke, Keita didn't see where Kaka was and he barged into Kaka and Keita fell down to the ground in pain. LOL. |

Re: World cup
Loved that New zealand v Italy game. Italy had to resort to diving in the penalty area to get a goal ..... same old tricks as they did with oz last cup.
NZ really played to their limit. great coaching and great effort from the kiwis

Re: World cup
Yeah, and that NZ goal should have never been allowed, before the guy that chipped it in from obvious offside position, a pushingfoul was made. A huge screwup from the referee. After the match i saw an NZ player in an interview talk about a dodgy goal from the Italians, but he didn't mention anything about the huge gift they got from the referee, bit hypocrit if you ask me.

Dive and sooky la la tactics might be a part of football, yes, but it's the worst part (and, incidentally, the only part stopping football from being a dominant sport in places like Aus) and no team is worse for it than the Italian national team, which i have dubbed the Ballerinas.
