ToB if possible. Its the conclusion to the plot so most people probably want to play it at least once.

Elsewise, go for NWN if you can run it, or one of the other next-gen RPGs. Morrowind and all that. OR go for something completely different like AVP2 or Warcraft 3.

First get ToB and play through it, then get Neverwinter Nights.

Also Icewind Dale II is coming soon(may actually already be out in some places) so you could buy that.

Well I went on to play Icewind Dale in multiplayer with a buddy of mine. IWD is pretty cheap now, and quite suited to multiplayer. Also it's nice to learn to work in a team and to escape the corny-as-hell BG 2 storyline for once.

Then I went back and played Planescape Torment for about the ten millionth time, which I.M.H.O. is still the best rpg game ever made.

Well I am going to throw my vote in for TOB. If you have come this far you should finish the saga off.

I'd say TOB as well but if you like Baldur's Gate you should also try the Icewind Dale games because they use the same engine.
