So there I was ,playin evilly when I meet Drizzt and the gang. My lip curls as I see another opportunity to be evil. After many reloads Drizzt is finally dead. I joyfully loot the bodies and continue on my way to the de arnise keep. For some reason I can't rest there. I only get "you can not rest at this time" message. Desperate I head to Athkalta and I can't rest at any inns. By the way the game isn't letting me save either.

Thats what you get for being so... well, so evil!
No, really. I dont have a clue as to why it doesnt let you save or rest. I would guess the ai got stuck in a pattern where it thinks there are still enemies around, but that is usually solved by just simply moving to a different area. If you have a savegame prior to the drizzt killing I would suggest that you use it and if not, well...

The game autosaves anyway. Simply go to some area, say from one "zone" into another. Game will autosave. Quit immediately the game and load it up again. Check again if you can save or not by usual means.

anasi, Limited Wish does not have a rest option, just spell rememorisation. Wish on the other had has the Full on Rest if your WIS is high enough, but you usualy need re-loads to get it since its random.
