Something for you to try (free cookie recipe)

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
Mix 1 stick of margarine, 2 cups of sugar, 4 tablespoons of cocoa, and 1/2 a cup of milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 2 and 1/2 cups of oats, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
Mix well and drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
Let cool for 25 to 30 minutes.

This is one of my mom's recipes that she has had for as long as I know, and probably one of the best she has. Tell me how everything turns out

I made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies on Saturday! Yummy too cause I put extra choc chips instead of the roasted peanuts as I didn't have any peanuts. Not a big fan of outmeal cookies though... maybe next time [img]smile.gif[/img]

What's a stick? 250g?

From what I gather, just a common stick of butter you'd get at the store. 113g.

Well, they do make a good batch. Maybe 25+

In the US a stick of butter is 1/4 pound or 4 ounces, sorry er...we still haven't gone metric!
