I can't believe...it! I had just finished Anephas's Shrine! I've had this game since October and still haven't finished it yet. I tried to uninstall Internet Explorer 6.0 (a beta version) It didn't uninstall properly, basically Control Panel disappeared (never seen THAT before), and my browser refused to work at all. I managed to restore the hard drive from a previous "image"....one containing a save game from March 27th.......omigosh....I don't know if I can face Boogre Caves again.
I guess I will start over with a party of five this time....but my question is....I forgot how to completely start over with brand new characters, all the quests, and the automap not filled in.......Aren't there two things I have to do? ....thanks all for your assistance.... |

Ohhhhh, Tabbikaat!!!!
I sympathize with you fully. I just had to do the FDISK/REFORMAT/RESTORE thing myself this past weekend. It's been heck! I'm so sorry about your loss. I'd just scrub the game and reload it, actually, just to make sure that nothing is corrupted. If you don't want to go that route, though, you can restart the game from any village by clicking the options button (lower left, computer icon) and then clicking "Reset Adventures". That should put you back in the inn and ready to go with more characters. What a pity.... -Sazerac |

Sorry to hear about your HD Tabbikaat. I hate it when MS releases beta stuff... you can NEVER trust it.

You know, I tried out Internet Explorer 6.0 for 2 days...absolutely HATED the interface. They're trying to go neck-and-neck with Netscape instead of sticking with the interface we all know and love in IE 5.5. I uninstalled it (fortunately, didn't have the problems that Tabbikaat did ) and I'm sticking with IE 5.5 until further notice.
Just when they get something just right, they have to go and "improve" it and muck it up in the process... -Sazerac |
