something that you just can not remember happening?
My brother and I were discussing things that have happened to one that did not happen to the other, and I mentioned I had never been in a car wreck like he had, been in mild one but never in a bad one. he looked at me like I was crazy and said yes you have, remember the old 69 skylark? I remember the car, remember it was totaled in a wreck, but for the life of me I can not remember being in that car when it was totaled, is it possible I blocked that part out? I have not asked my parents they would remember better than me if I had been in the car when it was wrecked. just wondering if anyone else has had the same thing happen to them.

Yeah that has happened to me. Sometimes tramatic events can be blocked out in your mind as a defence mechanism.
