No one's even heard of the artist of the second pic? Oh right, I forgot, common IW practise nowadays is just to go "that is cool" "that is funny" "that sucks" on any given topic, whether you know anything about it or not. I must lay off the Vaskezpills...

Anyway. Of course the pic is real. It looks more disturbing than most art but if you really think about it something like the stuff Gunther von Hagens does (i.e. plastification of dead people) is much more disturbing. After all, most of the hypocrites whining about some dead mice (and I have to say personally I cannot look at the pic either!) are only too happy to gobble up their bio-industrial hunks of meat.

Well melusine I only eat free range food. And yes there is some rather disturbing art out there.

One story that my friend told me about is where a group of artists got together. What they did is link them self into a big blood flowing circuit. So they where flowing each others blood from one to another. I find this very hard to beleive. But maybe it was true.

And please stop with the vask pills. No offence vask.

As Seth Weathers says about the NEA: ONE MAN'S DUNG IS ANOTHER MAN'S ART. THROWING YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT PILES OF WASTE [at the NEA]

Yep, normal modern crap. Too bad they don't put them in mental institutions or put them to work doing something useful for society like making little rocks out of big ones. Heck, or cleaning toilets since they like human feces so much.

could we get that last one with Balkenende on it or maybe Bush for the change?
you could rather call it kinky to whipe off your privates with some body's image, I prefer just the flower print

It is all interesting but nothing stikes me as overly fantastic.

Hmm...that mouse one was a bit disturbing, there was still blood coming out from them. The 'artist' probably didn't know what to do with them properly.
The first art peice was a bit different, I don't think I would want to use my own skin though.
