I wasn't going to push it today. I suppose if your run had to come to an end it was a pretty spectacular way to do it. You were beaten by 171 runs, exactly the same as India's first innings. Spooky.

Sri Lanka 205-3 collapse to 219-7.

I'm looking forward to the summer!

Yes Donut. By forcing the follow on perhaps the Hubris ascribes to them? 'Tis standard practice though, still last day batting was never going to be fun. Can't believe it. Oh well. Third test decider here we come. When is the lords test BTW? I'd love to be there.

Moiraine, last year was the worst for me, whenever I'd get sick, my voice got hammered, I'd lose half my range, and the silky parts of my tone. Hopefully this won't be the same sort. It's hanging around ABOVE the chords longer than it usually does so here's hoping....

Hey, hope the throat thing gets better. Anything with the voice/throat is scary for a singer. Can't have our favorite Bard unable to sing . . .

BK

Yes we can Yorick! Take care of yourself, I was saddened to see your post this morning about your throat. I usually use this board as a kind of morning newspaper! I never reply though as I have to GET TO WORK! I hope the next post I see from you will be a positive one. Rest well friend.

Donut, I am in mourning. Officially grieving. India is a place of barbarism and unsportsmanlike canibals. Imagine their hide. Not only escaping being beaten, but WINNING! I'm choking on these words as they sputter out. Bring on Chennai, this must be avenged.
