Heya Dave.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this effort works out. I give the self-appointed Emperor credit for fighting the system by using it's own rules against them. It's a novel approach and one I think is well worth the effort.

Keep us posted on how things are progressing.

It's prolly not worth mentioning, but he wasn't self appointed. Dale was chosen because of his royal heritage, lol. I don't think he was too keen on the idea himself to be honest.

I also believe that the title "Emperor" was chosen to avoid many jokes about a "king of queens" and the like. Or probably was done for some legal reason, to prolong the longevity of this 'stand' against Australia's discrimination. I know that Kingdom was chosen because otherwise Australian troops couldve just waltzed in and arrested those responsible for treason... perhaps it is another reason similar to that?

All in all, I think it is a grand plan ONE STEP CLOSER TO WORLD DOMINATION, MWHAHAHA.

A few questions though : is there any reason Dale was elected Emperor
and not King (as in, king of a KINGDOM, not emperor of an empire)

Is there someone living on the coral islands at all times? I don't know
the necessary legal requirements or anything... but I would worry in
case the Government send over squatters or something.

Dear David,

We have someone on the Island at all times but sometimes it is only 2
people camping here other times it can be 10 or 20, the reason for such
a small population is that there is no infrastructure and everything has
to be imported including all food and freshwater so this can get
expensive, as soon as our International Court of Justice submission is
heard with regards to the validity of our declaration of independence,
we can start to build a more permanent settlement. I don't know if I
sent you a photo of Heaven our Gay Capital but I have attached it to
this e-mail for you. Dale was called Emperor much
to his deep embarrassment rather than King because the Gay Government
hope that the GK will be a homeland for all gay people around the world
and its sovereign would be head of that Empire much like Napoleon was
called Emperor of France rather than King. Also the gay government felt
as he is a direct descendant of the French and English Royal Family but
was not born a Prince it would be much more legitimate to give him the
title of Emperor rather than King because of his common birth, just like
Napoleon.
