After an extended absence, I return. "Greetings" to all those whose paths I crossed in happier times and "Well met!" to all those who have joined the community since.

No need to bore anyone with my recent, and not so recent, activities. Suffice to say I am now a little older, most likely no more wiser, and am starting the BG saga(s) anew. For games that provided me so much pleasure, escape and amusement, it amazes me how much I have forgotten. I hope the archives have been well maintained so I will not need to ask too many silly questions.

It is a comfort to see that there is a little stability after all that has occurred. I hope to make frequent visits if for no other reason that to see old comrades.

Thank you for the welcome back, Cloudy & Jafin.

Ummm... I understand the need for the new password after I updated my profile. What I don't understand is the alert to bookmark the new URL for Iron Works... I did that before logging in and posting... I think...

*SIGH* and so it begins...
