Default Re: Have we had a movie quote thread for 07 yet?

I know that one.

But as I'm lurking in a different country to my movie collection I'm not going to answer it; no sir, Billy Bob, else it will get mighty hard to trawl for another quote (I know, the easy way would be to just search for quotes from the movies I own on google or IMDB, but I like it my way, where I have to watch the film to get the quote).

Of course, if no-one else answers by tomorrow night when I get back home I shall do so then.

And please, please keep away from Tom Cruise's ether regions - that is wholly wrong, as I'm sure your mother could explain, apart from which I can only assume that part of his anatomy must be really, really close to the ground; it's dirty down there and not in a Christina Aguillera way either (on the subject of women who aren't clean).

Well, back at last, and no response on this one so far I see.

Toot, I am confident that this is from Bad Santa, if I am wrong then you can shoot me now.

Well I guess I'll just have to shoot the mouse in the Undermountain because you are correct! Loved that movie. So you are now up!

Well , to keep it rolling rapidly along until we hit 2008 I shall provide a quote from a movie I watched only last night:

"What? You mean that Disneyland mookfest out there? Huh? Come on, you know what that is? Huh? That's a ■■■■■■■ violation is what that is. Something that used to be beautiful, used to have class, like a gorgeous high-priced hooker with an exclusive clientele. Then along came that Steve Wynn ■■■■■■■■■■ and knocks her up and put her in a ■■■■■■■ family way. Now she's nothing but a cheap, fat whore hiding behind too much ■■■■■■■ make-up. I look at her and see all her ■■■■■■■ stretch marks. It makes me want to cry because I remember the way she used to be."

Apologies for the 'bleep' marks, the guy was feeling emotional and was a tad rude

Good Lord Ung... where do you pull these out from? I've never heard of this one before.

Oh, now that's not fair - this was a big-name film (compared to some); I was really trying to stay in the same world as the rest of you this time. And I watched this especially to get the quote right.

I shall give it until tomorrow and then provide a clue unless there's a 'give up' cry.

Alec Baldwin said that in The Cooler, a creepy film where William H. Macy walked around a casino giving people bad luck. Alec Baldwin makes a great bad guy

And just to prove that I don't make up these quotes the baton has now passed to Aleph Null.

Here we go -- I just watched this for the first time in over 5 years.

"Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side.

This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you; he will follow."
