Ok not going to be as hard as.aleph question.

Just a little answer the Quote from the movie.

"No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own."

Maybe to easy but o-well.

That was pure gold. ,,I'm a doctor, not a doorstop.'' IMHO, First Contact is perhaps the best Star Trek movie to date. I watched it with people that didn't really care for Star Trek, and they loved it. Also, the Borg are always cool. Even though they suffered from overexposure in Voyager. The only thing I don't like about them is the Borg Queen. She kind of kills the concept.

Again Dreamer I have to totally agree!! Certinally one of the best ST Movies if not the best! And ditto about the borg and Voyager.
I wonder what the Queen thought of Law's rogue Borg...

After the original Star Trek, there was work on a second series about their 2nd 5-year mission, but it wasn't actually produced. Name it. Also, which of the original bridge crew was NOT going to be in it?

Target, I like the way you think.
Also, the answer to the new question is on the tip of my tongue. Really.

Star Trek: Phase II

The pilot to this series-that-never-was became Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

And it was Leonard Nimoy's Spock character that was absent -- Nimoy didn't want to do more Star Trek. They had another Vulcan character played by some other dude in his place, but Nimoy signed back on when it was turned into a movie.
