That's the most complicated word I've heard - so it's in response to the thread title question. It isn't my own language, but hey, who cares? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Oh, I almost forgot one silly word.

Estonians combine 2 words if they want to say something with a different meaning altogether. For example, 'ice cream' would be 'icecream' in Estonian.

That's the reason why there's a word Jää(ice) + äär(edge) = Jäääär.

Eh? My hometown in Hungary is the most complicated word you've heard? It's Budapest. Not really that complicated. Though my mum was born in a place called Sátoraljaújhely which is kinda complicated [img]tongue.gif[/img]

That's the problem with GD... some of these threads take on a life of their own, and if you haven't been riding 'em from the start, it's awfully hard to get caught up
