Yup. I used to use him to fight Liches. For some reason he seems to be especially effective against liches. Not sure why though...maybe efreet have a good magic resistance?

Ah...ring of Gaxx, anyone? Be quick and pickpocket the dude when he's in the blue(pre-demilich) and get multiple rings. Also, simultaneous pickpocketings. =D

i think ive p.p'd every person in the game. others of note -

Do ALL the guys (cant remember names) that come to visit Jahera thru the game. +1 & +2 rings & pendants.

Drizzt & party. +2 sword (think its +2), potions, all maner of goodies if your quick. pause & give imoen thief potions, get mage to haste party and you will have 2 thiefs that can run about thieving from Drizzts men.

always do all pub patrons. women often carry spells, gems.

There are others but dont remember strait off.

Nope. Actually, it *is* an efreeti bottle. Djinn loath efreet and vice-versa. Therefore, they take extreme pleasure in having a pet of the other race.

In BG2, there is a *Ring* of Djinni summoning that you may be thinking of...

ok, cos i happen to be at the Drizzt meeting i just done it again for you. This is with my thief, a bard and imoen. I hasted when i entered the screen and got the bard and imoen to take a thief potion while the haste was being cast. remember the potions come in bunches not 1 at time. items received from Drizzt and gang =

2 X Longsword +2 +1 cold damage.
Aegis Fang Warhammer +3.
Ring of invisibility.
Potion of extra healing X 13.
Potion of Speed X 3.
Potion of Stone giant strength X 2.
Ruby pendant.
Jade ring.

yep, you gotta pick a pocket or two.

pickpocket the main djinni in the tent in trademeet he has a cool scimitar, and if you pickpocket the old lady that sells potions and is really a rakshasha in the druid grove, you will get a perilept of proof against poison ( immune to poison, cure poison once per day!)
