Monk weapon?

hey..
what do you guys think is a good weapon for a monk. just curious...I play with a red mace (forgot the name) that I bought in Trademeet from a mercant. Any other suggestions?? Another thing...MONKS ROCKS!!!

I like the gauntlets of crushing. That is the only thing a monk really needs

Scarlet Ninja-to +3 has a cool BAM and gives one extra attack. You buy it off one of the Collectors Ed merchants. It's a weapon from the Greyhawk campaign world.

Then again - your best weapon is probably your fists.

Memnoch is right the Scarlet Ninja-to +3 is good because of the extra attack but when you are lvl 1

I think) you get like 4 attacks pr round any way. Also you fist are +4/+3 weapons and the gauntlets of crushing give you +4 so the Scarlet Ninja-to +3 really lowers you thaco and damage.
