Passing The First Waterfall Bridge In Dragonspire

Hi Again,

Well, I've made it past the Bronze Beast and have explored the two tunnels beyond it...

I've made it to a waterfall and have passsed the heavy water flow and have reached an area where two ladders lead up two a bridge wheel crank...

Trouble is, when I go to turn the wheel to extend the bridge, the game tells me that something is needed. I've opened both the chest below this waterfall as well as the chest at the end of the stream. There doesn't appear to be anything in these chests to turn the crank extender.

What am I missing here?

BTW...

My vanish spell here keeps failing when I try it

You need the bridge crank to get over... and vanish is sometimes particular about exactly where you're pointing [img]smile.gif[/img]

The crank is in one of the chests on the floor below. Have you been in the tunnels where Scorthidon lurks?

After some searching, I found two other exits after the Bronze Beast.

One in the Ceiling just past it and another in the wall towards the end of the stream.

After that, Dragonspire was a piece of cake... Still, I'm curious about that closed door beside Erathsmador and the other in the left tunnel, just after the Mavin.

Do you know what's behind the doors?

Those are one and the same door. I think it was originally planned as some sort of hangar door for Erathsmedor to come and leave by. But it was just modelled too small.
