oo, woke that ancient lich in the secret door. How long will that idiot be in existence anyways? Anyways, I got Yoshimo to steal Daystar. But on his way out, this pit fiend the lich summoned roasted Yoshimo's butt, haha.

The Lich will stay there until you defeat it. Once it runs out of spells, it will chase you around the city.

Liches are dumb. Usually they summon that pit fiend and then cast many good quality spells to kill it. With Daystar you could kill the bastard.

The best way i found out to kill the Lich is the following:

First equipp Your fighters with +1 and Up Weapons, then before you go to kill the Lich, use the Spell Protect from Evil on all your Party members or at least your front fighting Charakters. With Protektion from Evil they won't be so easy harmed by the Pit find the Lich summond.

Next Step is to use Keldorn's "Dispel Magic" Ability against the Lich inthe moment the Lich starts to cast his Protection Spells, but beware that you don't dispel your own "Protect from Evil Spell"

Now get your best fighters and keep hitting the Lich's Body, and use some magic missiles everytime the Lich starts to Cast a spell, normaly the beast will be slain in a few minutes by using this kind of attack.

this is an ubermunchkiny tactic. Get a mage, preferably not your PC in case you die, and cast polymorph self. Go into the room and turn into a mustard jelly. Let the mage use up it's spells and summons and all that rot. If your mage takes too much damage, get him out of there (keep him near the door), polymorph back to normal form, have the cleric heal him or her. Polymorph back, and go back in until the lich uses up it's spells, then send your fighters in (Equipped with magical weapons) to do clean up. And that's that.
