Default Any one for Tennis,

Since the start of Wimbledon I’ve thought this is going to be Nadal’s year, he has the mental edge over Roger. But you can’t write Roger off, over 60 games unbeaten on grass!
But I have to say wow, after watching Andy Murray, I really thought he was down and out. I really think he’s worthy of a semi-final spot, its such a shame he comes up against Rafa next

Who do you think will win?

I'm pretty much out of it. I used to watch it a lot more. I don't why I stopped watching, other than not having the right channels. It did not have a sports package for years, but one I get several of them, since switching from Starchoice to Digital TV.

Wow what a final, I did think Rafa would win from the beginning 2 weeks ago, but I didn't expect Roger to run him so close.
I think if he stays injury free Rafa could be 'even' better than Roger??

It's interesting; I don't know if Rafa will win as many slams as Roger will, and while I find Roger insufferably smug sometimes I hope he does go on and win a bunch more because he deserves to surpass Sampras's record, but I think that Rafa actually has a good chance to will all four grand slams (though very doubtful all in one year) now that he has won Wimbledon - the Australian and US are in between the French and Wimbledon for court speed I think; whereas I wonder if Roger, a la Sampras, will ever be able to win the French.

I think Roger would have won the French for the last couple of years...if not for Rafa, if Rafa stays fit I can't see him loosing on Clay.
Mind you they showed ob TV how the Wimbledon court has changed, they have slowed it down to better suit the clay court players, if they had played on a Wimbledon court from 10 years ago I think Roger would have won.

Still can't slide into a shot on grass like on clay. I think the courts are still very much different style benefitors.
