hey guys, here's a question for everyone that's completed the game.
Upon your first completion of the game what was the average level of your characters? For me (I had a Fighter,Ninja,Archer,Thief,Mage,Cleric) their average level was about 21-23. Yours? Thanks for the feedback! |

My average was 25. I did all 3 "hidden" dungeons and only had 7 characters for Ascension Peak.

Hi all!
I am not through yet, so there's nothing to post for me. But I have a suggestion, since this thread is started: I'd really like to know how many ingame time it took you to finish the game. Not that it matters in any way, but I'd still like to know... maybe someone of you likes to post that! Never forget your towel, cheers Philipp Edit: Thanks, V^^^V, but I'd be more interested in INGAME time, that is, what does your last savegame show as time from your crash on the beach? I'm very close to the end (I think)and most of my group is 20 t0 21. I really don't think it took all that long. I think maybe 50 60 hours total. I've been playing this type of game since the UBER 'puter was a C-64 or Atari 800 and this game seems shorter than most. It may seem shorter because the pace is good there always seems like there's something to do. I also seem to have skipped a lot of stuff too. I just got the wheel key for instance and I sorta accidently wiped out the T'rang, even the main NPC/chief and their ship. ooopsie...

Check your save game list. The in-game day number is always listed along with the save name and picture. Just don't ask me how long it was before I noticed that myself
P.S. My parties are usually in the low 20's at game end, too. This one is a bit short for a Wizardry. |

Average level when finished was 25th. Given the way the required EXP points for the level increase, I suspect most people who explore as many areas of the games as possible, and only revisit areas if required to, will have parties around 25th level as well.
IMO, it would take a fair amount of deliberate wandering around killing monsters to get levels much higher than this, and it would have to be done near the end of the game. Pang

I was level 23-25, and it took about thirty days of in-game time.

I was from level 19 (Vi - I had to leave her for a while when I picked up Rodan and Drazic) to level 23 (dracon fighter, always progressed faster than anyone else). Average level 22.
In game time? No idea - Out of game time... erm... 23rd December to 17th February. krok |
