2 weeks before our first anniversary, my girlfriend's split up with me - she's got a good job some miles away doing shift work and is moving inwith her sister down there on Tuesday

She just left like that? I guess you couldn't have gone with her, and that she probably asked you to. Stuff like that happens sometimes... Don't worry about it there are plenty of fish in the sea.

I couldn't move myself - moving together isn't a solution should only be done when ready - besides she's living with her sister (and family), not in her own place

I'm so sorry to hear about that, LS! Relocation is always such a drag. Is it a permanent break, or is it just because she is moving off? Long distance relationships are difficult, but not impossible.

Whichever way it turns, I hope you're able to find some happiness soon as well.

Being single aint so bad. I am having a blast being single now. I hope things aren't to rough for you. I know it sucks for awhile, but things get easier with time. At least now you have more time to go party with the boys.
