A friend pointed me to THIS page for a great tip to speed up your Firefox browser on a broadband connection. I've done it and already see a big improvement. Speed is like a drug, and I just got a big hit!

I did some searching and found this page that defines all of the config entries. Knowledge is power! I tried to make the page a link but it said ":about:" is not allowed as an html tag. Anyway, here ya go...

One point - HTTP pipelining is not enabled by default for a good reason - its not standard yet, and there are backward compatability issues. Some sites will not work with this enabled.

Still, it works just fine most places.

Are you saying they won't work at all, or just that there won't be any improvement in speed?
