a nice moral story.. check it out! i got this from the email. i dont know if all the facts are true but at least its a good short story
THE POWER OF WORRYING Death was walking toward a city one morning and a man asked, "What are you going to do?" "I'm going to take 100 people," Death replied. "That's horrible!" the man said. "That's the way it is," Death said. "That's what I do." The man hurried to warn everyone he could about Death's plan. As evening fell, he met Death again. "You told me you were going to take 100 people," the man said. "Why did 1,000 die?" "I kept my word," Death responded. "I only took 100 people. Worry took the others." This interesting tale portrays so well what the National Mental Health Committee reported a few years ago - half of all the people in America's hospital beds are constant worriers. Mental distress can lead to migraine headaches, arthritis, heart trouble, cystitis, colitis, backaches, ulcers, depression, digestive disorders and yes, even death. Add to that list the mental fatigue of nights without sleep and days without peace, then we get a glimpse of the havoc worry plays in destroying the quality and quantity of life. Worry is, and always will be, a fatal disease of the heart, for its beginning signals the end of faith. Release the regrets of yesterday, refuse the fears of tomorrow and receive instead, the peace of today. FREE YOUR MIND, YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. Unknown

Your post for some reason reminded of me something totally irrelvant. Was this Tom Sawyer claymation thing on tv. And I hate claymmation LOL, is just too creepy to me somehow. But years ago, one day,, found myself watching this thing. Was actually excercising at the time, and didn't feel like stopping to grab the remote and change it. The story was like Tom conversing with the Devil. And the devil waved his creepy claymation hand and created this miniature little town, huts and all, then he waved again and there were tiny claymation people walking about in the town. All this time it show Tom and the Devil looking down on all this tiny creation. So then, devil adds this cow LOL. All the little tiny claymation townsfolk are like lovin this cow, everyone though seems to want it for themselves. So this happy little town becomes ugly pretty quickly, all the little people have these mad claymation faces LOL, all are tugging on this cow, until they just pull so much it splits in half and is dead, no winners now. Then it goes back to Tom and the Devil, who have been watching it all, Tom is horrified at this outcome with the cow, thought he had helped make this nice little friendly world, devil even helped him, used no tricks. Still the outcome was grim. At the end, after Tom and the Devil had viewed all this, the Devil got mad and just took his giant fist and killed everyone, town and all. Then turned to Tom and said "it's no big deal, I can always make more."

When you're done telling people not to worry, could you try telling the sun to stop shining over here? The heat is getting to me.

It's easy to tell someone to stop worrying and get over something. But unless you've been through what someone is going through you have NO right to expect others to agree to stop worrying.
Sometimes it isn't as simple as not thinking about the problem. It's always there at the back of your mind. Take it from someone with a pessimistic outlook on life! |

It reminds me of a SNL sketch, where Bob Newhart is a psychologist, and his patients come in and tell him their problems, and his response is always "Well, stop doing that" or "Don't worry about it." My mother had been pretty mentally ill the past couple of years, and trust me, you can't tell her or any of our family to "just stop worrying".
