Wierd things that have happened to you...

Hey, I just started playing this game again... anyway, I was walking around one of the forests, and found a bunch of Ratling Sneek's... I killed them... and then my pixie scout goes "A Ratling Sneek has been here"
anyone else had wierd things like that happen?

i dono if i would call that weird... maybe there was a stragler...

anyway... i had a person kill a highland rogue... i got all the experience for it and everything.. and i was looking at the dead body... and it stood up and started attacking me again!!!!

scared the crap out of me... and it has never happened sinse... lol

heh heh, and with my bit, i looked around after, and found nobody there... it's happened with other creatures as well, i've been informed of their existence just after i kill them

It's truly been too long since I've played to remember many of the odd bits that happened - pirannah on land is the only one that comes to mind off hand.

Getting stuck in walls and floors is about the weirdest thing that has happened to me... but it does get annoying. It happened once when I was trying to clear The Crypt, The Serpent Temple and Cet's Pyramid as fast as possible. I usually keep screenshots of these occasions, I'll see if I can dig one up.

Fafnir, it happens often [img]smile.gif[/img] It's a result of a "message queue" of events inside the game. It is possible that the message about the ratlings arrives after the ratlings appear. Then the message must wait until its turn comes. This way, you can get "ratling sneek has been here" after killing the ratlings.
These "yesterday news" make no harm. Ignore it.

heh, thanks for the welcomes, some of the other weird things, that happened just now were pirannahs getting stuck on my raft... it was quite a surprise while i'm flying along on the water to find i'm being attacked... i feel proud that i know the reason for this one though... it seems the raft takes up all the space underneath it, so when there's a fish underneath your raft, it gets pushed along, and when you run into a wall, the fish gets pushed up onto your raft...

... I've fallen into the ground before... good thing there's a teleport spell [img]smile.gif[/img]

... I had Kol walking on water once... out where you first meet him near the Serpent Temple. I didn't ask all the questions, so he was waiting around... eventually, he walked on water...

... In my current configuration, when I've had to alt-tab out of the game, the texture graphics disappear and it's like it's snowing in the Gael Serran.
