END OF THE GAME... problem....

Has anyone else had the embarrassing problem of leaving a party member behind? For example, after having my little chat with "Revered Brother" Potemkin (Poquelin, whatever...) and everyone was transported back to Easthaven, I found that only five of my party members had actually made the move. My poor mage was left behind to fend off the little beasties in the corrupted church! Ahhh!

Heh heh well I did it when I was fighting the fire giants. I know this is shutting the barn door after the horse is already gone but... keep yourself at least 2 "backup" saves. What I do is use 2 and I "slinky" my way through. if I dont like what happens after a save and I want to get back farther I can reload. Thats the solution I take. Hope it helps.

I keep saves before I start each major area, in case I make one or two rather large mistakes (I have no intention of repeating the Baldur's Gate Massacre of '99!). Just thought that leaving one of my characters behind was rather bizarre. Better than the incident where my thief died in his sleep...
