Why is this being debated?????? The best and most ancient dragon is the stone dragon of the underdark who answers only to the biscuit king on his throne of scone.

Without question Ancalagon The Black because of his cool name (can't stand those tongue-breaking dragonnames in Ad&D which look like someone rolled a die to choose the spelling)

Just remembered as a kid my mum helped me make a dragon out of a playdough mix which she baked hard. I think she painted it too, red with nostrils, eyes etc in black. It also had cardboard wings
