which game intro do you ALWAYS watch?

mine's fallout 2.
~ the old skool 1950's B&W film graphics
~ "duck and cover" nuclear holocaust survivability mentality
~ great louis armstrong theme song, "kiss to build a dream on"
~ first words "war... war never changes".

i always get the shivers. i'll open the game just to watch the intro alone and i'm notorious for skipping game intros after the first time.

V***V

Fallout and Fallout 2. Sometimes Planescape: Torment.

edit: Whee! Look at me! I'm a dragon!

Both Fallouts are great.

But mine's Dawn of War

*Crackle* Reinforcements are on route!

Fallout 2, the way it "mystifies" some events. The FEV virus is described as a evil "corrupting all it touched, twisting them inside, turning them into beasts."

Dawn of War is a work of art, aye. It's currently number 2 on my list. I'm still expecting a game who's intro tops that of StarCraft: Brood War.
Freespace 1 is on 3rd place, Freespace 2 is on 4th place, while the 5th place is held by FEAR, a game I can not play due to requirements.

When I saw this thread I thought to myself: "I'm gonna say Fallout 2" but it seems I've been beaten.

Really? What about it made it stand out for you? It's definitely a standout game, but there really wasn't much to the beginning, as far as I can recall.

As for me? Katamari Damacy. It's more of the music than anything else.

It was really neatly done, and carries the tone of the game and the other director's cut videos well.
RA2 intro has a special place, but not within the first 5. Mainly because of hideous acting of some characters.
