Power. Poise. Grace. Beauty. An excellent choice, and one I'd prolly go with as well war...that would have to be Drizzt Do'Urden. Loyalty. Companionship. Strength. enemy? Hmm. not sure actually. Perhaps the evil duke from Dune. Harkonnen? another enemy? If allowed, Star Trek's 'Khan' thank? Menion Leah is an excellent choice, one I agree with (thanks Lioness) |

David Eddings, he got me into Fantasy. ------------------ The world is my oyster ! |

Moiraine, Elric was not a man, he was a Melnibonean. They're Moorcocks dark elves who make drow look like flower picking goblin pilgrims on a journey to a shrine of Hieroneous (yes, we once saw three knight/paladin types murder a group of lawful good goblin pilgrims who didn't want any trouble). If you've read the first ever Elric story (the first one written) then you'll realise that you're wish has been granted. Elric is slain by Stormbringer at the end of Stormbringer (the first Elric novel). However, I must agree that I don't like Michael Moorcocks eternal champion system either (although this was the inspiration behind the original D&D alignment system (back when it was Law and Chaos, Good and Evil only turned up in time for AD&D, and a few articles in Dragon hinted at it in advance)).
As for the rest of you, keep 'em coming, I'm enjoying reading of everyones likes and dislikes. ------------------ Balgin, the Dwarf |

All these characters are from Lord of the Rings:
Fall in love- Galadriel. Ever since I first read about her I said to myself I want a girlfriend like that. Character to die for- Sam Gamgee. You all probably think i'm crazy but I just loved the little guy he often cracked me up. He seems like he would make a great friend. Goto war with- Aragorn and Gandalf. I would for sure win with those two at my side. Have as and enemy- Orcs. Dirty, smelly and just gross, who wouldn't want them to die? ------------------ One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them. -The Lord of the Rings |

After reading the new posts I keep wondering. are there only goody shoed lawful good paladins walking around? Come on, there have to be some evil bastards lurking around or maybe even someone of the best alignment in the world: CHAOTIC NEUTRAL, hahahaha. Let's go whack some stones, throw some orcs and kill a twinkie with a kitten. Well, just a small realization I had after ghetting high on chocolate By the way, Balgin, Stormbringer really was the first Elric book written, are you sure? Kinda weird writing a book and then adding five prequels, eh. Oh well, shouldn't be surprised by Moorcock. Moraine why don't you like Elric, would like to know, but maybe in a different thread? ------------------ reality is for those not smart enough to see the truth!!!!! |

To be in love with: Miranda from Midkemia. Something about chicks that know magic just do it for me. And you know she's hot! Kahlan from Terry Goodkinds books would be up there too.
To go to war with: Drizzt (as a friend) Have as an enemy: Aerie from BG2. I hate her!!!!!!! She drives me nuts. "faster then chitika fastpaws" over and over in my head!!!!!!!!! Have as another enemy: Darth Vader - as long as there is no family relation ------------------ "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." -General George Patton (1885-1945) Member of CLAN HADB |
