Major Lockup!

Hi,

Anyone else have this problem...??

Near the end of the game, in the pyramid, after Kerah is Possessed, there's a total lock-up of my computer. Only pressing the reset button works...

I've been fighting this for a couple of days, so I'll just see if anyone has a suggestion (without me losing the game/characters I've spent months playing!!)

You are not alone, Hector!

This has happened to many players and the best solution that we've found for it is:

send me or Xignal a copy of your gamexx.sav (ZIPPED or RARed) just before the time of the lock up. The game is stable on our machines so we can play you just past the point of lock up, resave the game and send it back to you so you can finish up the game.

Thanks for the reply, and the offer...

I was using a back-up CD to play with (so the original didn't get scratched or something), and, suspecting a possible copy protection safeguard, I stuck the original CD in and... Horray! It worked!

Just one more surprize I figure...

Finished up the game (...kept the Mavin! ), and I now have a Valkire and a Zen Master, and... now what? Nothing for them to do but rest on their laurels (?)...

Great game though... Even with the glitches.
