I'm the same way Johnny. If a commercial annoys me so much I'll go out of my way NOT to buy it lol

Skywalker I know what you mean. In twenties I never went to the doctor. Even most of the thirties. But one thing I figured out is it costs more not to see a doc from missing work sometimes. So I grit my teeth and do it. My wallet hates it though lol Some doctors are very good about people without insurance and have a bit of mercy on the bill. The exception would be the foot doctor I went to,$60 for a five minute follow-up made me think I went to the proctologist

And all the stupid drug commercials lately. Just about every pill has side effects like diarrhea or abdominal pain. Can't they get the medicine right with out causing other problems. I think the drugs would be cheaper too, if they'd quit advertising so much.

Sorry...Rant Off!

Mark
What gets me is that the ABC soaps have the same announcer ("Brought to you by...") for over twenty years!

I learned to tune out commercials a long time ago...so much so that Rex will ask "Did you see/hear that?" and I'll honestly admit I didn't when I sit closer to the TV than he does LOL.
I stopped to listen to some of the drug commercials when he pointed out what great side effects I was missing out on lol. I think I'd rather die than take any of them.

Yeah LOA! I never used to go to the doctor unless I got hurt at work. Like the time I squished my finger during a sledge hammer accident! Ouch!

What really bugs me are the drug ads that don't tell you what the drug is for ..they just say ask your doctor to perscribe it for you,,,,,Then of course theres the new liquid viagra,,,,,so you can pour yourself a stiff one!!

LMAO NO kidding! I had to take medication for nausea a couple of years ago and one of the side effects was; you guessed it! Nausea! I didn't get sick when I took them and they actually helped me hold food down until I felt better and could ditch them but I thought it was pretty funny.

And I completely agree about your drug rant. Just last week I was prescribed some anti-inflammatories for a foot problem. After a couple days my stomach was in knots and...well guess the rest. And the doctor didnt warn me of this. After squandering $165 to see the idiot, $69 for the pills, and $60 for a follow-up visit. For nothing.
That's mostly why I avoid going to the doctor..don't trust them. I guess I'll have to start trusting soon, once you're over 40 you have to watch your health more closely.
It's not that I don't trust them, It's just they don't make much money off healthy people.

Okay, the most annoying commercials on my list are
Car Commercials
Sprint& all cell phones
Those damn commercials who show 1 commercial, then 2 commercial laters, different commercial but same company. I'd like to shoot the person that thought of that.

They are THAT ugly, i never thaught someone with such a horrifying face could exist let alone be video taped without making the camera explode! Have to agree, both about the commercials and the medicine. Thought I´d bring up a point in this post as well about medicine and diarrhea. Most often its ´s not the substance itself that causes this but the filling (lactose) that causes this by its osmotic potency.
