Beta test for chat program #1-- Fails approval.

I've now closed the test for chat program 1. We'll test the next one soon (I need to set it up and stuff).

Chat program 1 fails because of bad features really.. as many of you pointed out, ANYONE can log on as anyone, and if you don't log out right, it LOOKS like you're still in the chatroom (Totally stupid) and the 'clearing' of the screen is dumb to. This chat program deserves to be.........

Sorry about that Ziroc. I was one of those that did not log off when I first checked out the chatroom, and it seemed that "Ladyzekke" remained! When I came on it again, I was then "Ladyzekke_1".
Yes, the blank refreshing made it hard to respond in some situations. Hey, no worries, I am absolutely sure you will find a good chatroom setup in the end, as you have done such an excellent job with this board!

As it stands now, we all at least seem to have much fun testing your various new ideas no matter what they are!

ps - Funny, you mentioned on another thread how your name was pronounced. I always in my head read your name as "Zerrock". Now I guess I must change that. "Ziroc" as in "Iroc"!

yeah i logged on for a second (cant chat at work, although i can get away with the forum) and there was "slackurboy" asking where i was. that was disturbing

I hope that the next version will not post the date and time everytime you type in a line.

Also wasn't so sure that everyone would want their IP# displayed either.

LoA - we know you were just playing around! Don't fret! Ziroc will make certain that the NEXT chat cgi blows you offline if you try it again! (KIDDING) lol!!!!

i'm not upset i wasnt there long enough to see what was going on. they may have been doing that to show that it was a problem.
