when I unzip to my ...BG2II - SoA folder, and click on the setup.exe for the ease of use mod, I get:

FATAL ERROR: Failure("Unable to find CHITIN.KEY: run me in an infinity engine game directory")

why am I getting this, and what can I do to fix it? =/

(I'm completely clueless; this is not teh first time I've installed BG2 or weimer's mods, so I don't know why it's not working this time. ><)

You're absolutely sure setup-ease.exe is in the BG2 folder? It hasn't, for example, unzipped into an 'ease' directory?

yeah, it's in the BG2 folder.

The only thing I can think of, is I tried to install ToB, but it cancelled at 25% (the CD fell out of a jewl case in storage, and was all scratched to hell), which may have messed something up.

I'm gonna try a re-install, but if that doesn't fix it, I'm not sure what will.

DL the EOU mod again. It's not unusual to get corrupt DL's of these mods.
