You have been away from home too long as well. YUM! out of "Da'Ville" (Louisville 4 all u others) owns, em all. Pizza hut, KFC, Taco Bell, and Long John Silvers. For the most part the KFC/Taco Bell unity is of the one roof, one restaurant style of merger.

Tonights news really made for some rat-ifing Yum! publicity.

Larry, did you know Daimler owns Chrysler, and Toyota has entered NASCAR?

There is only two small problems with your outlook.

"Although growing ranks of shareholders would like to see Chrysler go, selling it is easier said than done. Bank Sal. Oppenheim analyst Michael Raab estimates it would cost 26 billion euros to separate the two businesses."

"A real stumbling block is around 18 billion euros in unfunded pensions and healthcare liabilities for retired workers that any buyer would want financed in full, analysts say."

I was talking to a friend of mine about Alienware today and it came up that they were owned by Dell, and I thought he was crapping out of his mouth until I found one of several articles on it.

Apparently, it has been nearly a year since this happened.

How did I miss this?
You took the day off from reading important nerd news?

the new dell alienware pcs are a lot weaker than what alienware made when they were their own company. Of course this also translates into a bit more affordable.
